Surviving Kindergarten with a storytelling handbook is weaved around a story-based syllabus and contains lesson plans based on 14 engaging stories, which are selected to meet the needs and interests of pre-primary school children and at the same time they are in accordance with the Kindergarten curriculum.

Each story provides a springboard to a wide range of related language learning activities, which bear cross-curricular links to Maths, Art, Geography, Music, Drama, and STEM and cater for different intelligences and diverse learning needs.

With this storytelling handbook we aspire to provide new teachers of English at pre-primary level with valuable practical help, while at the same time to remind more experienced ones the real value of a story-based approach.
